Immediate opening: dozer operator (Virginia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a dozer operator in Bedford County, Virginia. You will work at a civil contractor's yard. On the job you will handle: • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms Ideal candidate: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
