Production operative — South Tyneside

Vacancy available: we are hiring a production operative in South Tyneside, England. You will be based in a packaging factory. You will load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; set up and start the machine as per the job card; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
