Immediate opening: we are hiring a stitching operator in Perry County, Kentucky. The job is on an export house sewing floor. The role involves meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
