Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Cedar County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Cedar County, Iowa. The job is at a busy machine shop. On the job you will handle: • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
