Glazing assistant — Adams County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Adams County, Mississippi. The job is on a construction site. Day to day you will cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders; read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts; replace cracked or broken window panes; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames. You should have: • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units Pay around $140 per day, based on your experience.
