Now hiring: we are hiring a pressman in Fulton County, Kentucky. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. The role involves hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work $9,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
