Restoration bricklayer — Idanre

Vacancy available: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Idanre, Ondo State. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. On a typical shift you will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
