Machine operator (earthworks) • Logan County, Ohio

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Logan County, Ohio. The job is on a pipeline and trenching crew. You will dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers. Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
