Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Kent County, Michigan. You will work in a toolroom. Day to day you will mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed. Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work 3+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
