VMC operator wanted in Imperial County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a VMC operator in Imperial County, California. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. The role involves: • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Pay around $23 per hour, based on your experience.
