Paint booth operator — Blackford County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a paint booth operator in Blackford County, Indiana. The job is at an automotive components factory. Requirements: • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms Day-to-day duties: • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $19 per hour plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
