Vacancy available: shrink wrap operator (New York)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shrink wrap operator in Suffolk County, New York. The job is at a busy packing line. Day to day you will seal cartons with a tape gun or hot-melt glue; stack and arrange goods onto pallets for dispatch; count units and confirm the correct quantity per carton; change over film rolls and reset the heat sealer; wipe down and sanitise the line following hygiene rules; operate the filling and sealing machine on the line. You should have: • Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 25 kg • Able to follow health and safety procedures • Understanding of basic food hygiene for food packing Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience.
