Overhead (EOT) crane operator — Nottoway County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Nottoway County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) You should have: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Strong attention to safety and load limits Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
