Forklift operator — Kenai Peninsula Borough

We are recruiting: we are hiring a forklift operator in Kenai Peninsula Borough, Alaska. You will work on a factory shop floor. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics • Assist with stock takes and cycle counting • Charge the forklift battery or change the LPG cylinder safely • Operate counterbalance and reach trucks within the marked aisles • Log damaged pallets, leaks and faults in the defect book • Stack and de-stack goods in high-bay racking What we are looking for: • Accurate, careful stock handling • Minimum 1-2 years' warehouse forklift experience • Able to read pick lists and operate an RF scanner Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience.
