Immediate opening: we are hiring a plasterer in Somerset, England. The job is on a commercial fit-out project. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets On a typical shift you will apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming.
