Mining dozer operator — Livingston County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Livingston County, Michigan. You will work on a road construction project. Day-to-day duties: • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes What we are looking for: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters Full-time, day shift. $200 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
