Join our team: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Southend-on-Sea, England. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Your main tasks: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks Rotating shifts.
