Crane operator wanted in Marion County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane operator in Marion County, Alabama. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. You will hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines. Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
