Vacancy available: milling machine operator (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Brunswick County, Virginia. You will work in a die and mould making unit. Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces The role involves select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed.
