Now hiring: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Osage County, Oklahoma. You will work on the moulding line. The role involves: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch Requirements: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Six days a week, one day off.
