Sand plant operator — Broward County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Broward County, Florida. On the job you will handle: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
