Now hiring: we are hiring an ironing operator in Greenbrier County, West Virginia. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. On the job you will handle: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Rotating shifts.
