Join our team: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Arthur County, Nebraska. Day-to-day duties: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
