Great opportunity: we are hiring a power float operator in Bienville Parish, Louisiana. The job is at an infrastructure site. The role involves compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
