Join our team: we are hiring a laundry presser in Chippewa County, Wisconsin. You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases On a typical shift you will give each garment a final press before packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure.
