Argon welder — Epe

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Epe, Lagos State. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Your main tasks: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Six days a week, one day off.
