Furnace operator wanted in Carter County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a furnace operator in Carter County, Kentucky. Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry On the job you will handle: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings Meals and transport allowance provided.
