Track-type tractor operator wanted in Alcona County

Now hiring: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Alcona County, Michigan. You will be based on a road construction project. Day to day you will clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes. You should have: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence 3+ years on the tools preferred. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
