Immediate opening: we are hiring a waterproofing applicator in Vinton County, Ohio. You will work on a construction site. Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam On a typical shift you will install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits.
