Die-casting operator wanted in Macomb County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Macomb County, Michigan. The job is on the moulding line. The role involves tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $27 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
