Roofing labourer — Washington County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a roofing labourer in Washington County, Kansas. You will work on commercial flat-roof projects. On a typical shift you will strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck; replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates; carry out leak inspections and patch repairs; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses. Requirements: • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts.
