Presser — Matagorda County

Now hiring: we are hiring a presser in Matagorda County, Texas. You will be based in a garment export house. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Give each garment a final press before packing You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
