Hoist operator — Hardy County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a hoist operator in Hardy County, West Virginia. You will be based on a high-rise tower crane. On the job you will handle: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports What we are looking for: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Full-time with occasional weekends.
