Now hiring: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Scott County, Minnesota. You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work On the job you will handle: • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
