Fettler wanted in Coventry

Now hiring: we are hiring a fettler in Coventry, England. You will work at a busy iron foundry. You will make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding We offer £3,000 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
