Crawler dozer operator — Portage County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Portage County, Ohio. The job is at a busy earthworks site. On the job you will handle: • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels You should have: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
