Immediate opening: rough terrain crane operator (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Castro County, Texas. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Strong attention to safety and load limits On the job you will handle: • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger 1+ years on the tools preferred.
