Formwork carpenter — Creek County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Creek County, Oklahoma. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Day to day you will brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured. Ideal candidate: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level Part-time with flexible hours.
