We are recruiting: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Alleghany County, North Carolina. The job is on a bridge and flyover project. What we are looking for: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Able to read formwork and structural drawings The role involves fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Share your details and we will call you back.
