Foundry worker wanted in Girei

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry worker in Girei, Adamawa State. The job is on the moulding line. You will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
