Panel painter — Medina County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a panel painter in Medina County, Texas. You will work at an accident repair centre. Day-to-day duties: • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs Requirements: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits.
