Immediate opening: trowel-trade bricklayer (Illinois)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Woodford County, Illinois. The job is at a residential building site. You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) You will setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
