Sample machinist — McPherson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a sample machinist in McPherson County, South Dakota. On a typical shift you will clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go. You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
