Construction helper — Clinton County

Now hiring: we are hiring a construction helper in Clinton County, New York. You should have: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites The role involves: • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour 3+ years on the tools preferred.
