Elevator technician — Lincoln County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator technician in Lincoln County, Nevada. You will work on a lift modernisation project. Day-to-day duties: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway What we are looking for: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Six days a week, one day off.
