Mechanical press operator — Staffordshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Staffordshire, England. On a typical shift you will feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings. Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
