Foundry labourer — Franklin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Franklin County, Illinois. You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards On a typical shift you will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
