Presser — Lapeer County

Now hiring: we are hiring a presser in Lapeer County, Michigan. You will work at a garment factory. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep On the job you will handle: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Give each garment a final press before packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board Full-time with occasional weekends.
