Mechanical press operator — Floyd County

Join our team: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Floyd County, Iowa. You will work at an auto components factory. Requirements: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards Day-to-day duties: • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
