Brick and block layer — Pottawatomie County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma. Day-to-day duties: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses What we are looking for: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
